comicsalliance: 4.6 Million Comics Ordered For Free Comic Book Day 2013 In May By Ziah Grace Free Comic Book Day has become an important annual awareness event and comic shop sales opportunity since its inception back in 2002, but this year’s is already shaping up to be its biggest yet. Diamond Comics Distribution is reporting that more than 4.6 million comics have been ordered in anticipation of the 12th annual event on May 4, a substantial new record for the program.
